Before designing a record cover, you’ll analyze the lyrics, history, and emotions it conveys. Guided by Goster, you’ll experiment with collage techniques for original ideas. You’ll play with typography and images for a fluid and natural design on the cover, back cover, and label. Goster will explain how to prepare the final artwork for printing and give tips for working with the printer. For the course project, you’ll conceptualize and design a record cover that complements the music and evokes emotions. The course is aimed at graphic designers, collage artists, music enthusiasts, and design lovers.
