Peruvian Gas Transport (TGP) moves energy and ideas that transform Peru. Their pipelines are underground, yet they achieved an instant hit with the book we designed that helped tell their story.
To commemorate its five years of operation in the country, Transportadora de Gas del Perú (TGP) commissioned us to create a book that would narrate the engineering feats that allowed for the construction of a pipeline that transported gas from the jungle to the coast, crossing the intricate geography of the Peruvian Andes.
The result exceeded the initial idea: we designed Transandino, an art book that documents the journeys of Rafo León –a prestigious travel writer, author of numerous luxury volumes on the attractions of Peru– through the areas covered by the Camisea Project.
Originally conceived as a commemorative institutional book, it ended up becoming a bestseller.
